We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic Sales department in Linthicum, MD. In this role, you will support our highly advanced chemical analysis equipment sales team and contribute to our mission of helping customers, employees, and partners have fulfilling and successful careers. Extensive product training will be provided to ensure your success in this position.


Responsibilities:


  • Generate and qualify leads to contribute to system order sales.
  • Engage in customer outreach activities to generate leads and move them through the marketing pipeline.
  • Connect with prospects through various outbound channels to understand their needs.
  • Develop relationships with potential customers by providing relevant information about GERSTEL sample preparation and introduction systems.
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Utilize networking skills to establish connections and expand the customer base.
  • Utilize social media platforms to support lead generation and relationship building.
  • Demonstrate aptitude for cold calling and establishing quick rapport with potential customers.
  • Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Chemistry or a relevant field.
  • Laboratory experience with GC-MS is preferred.
  • Aptitude for scientific and technical subjects.
  • Ability to effectively utilize social media platforms.
  • Strong aptitude for cold calling and establishing quick rapport.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

  • Relevant: 1 - 2 years (Preferred)
